GENERAL HUMAN PREPAREDNESS

Life demands far more than a single type of activity or movement. Therefore, our GENERAL HUMAN PREPAREDNESS programming does not concentrate on any single modality, such as endurance or strength. Instead, we program variety into our workouts to ensure you leave better prepared for anything that life throws at you, including sports, recreational activities and physical work.

Our GENERAL HUMAN PREPAREDNESS programming is centered on cutting-edge methodologies utilizing a wide range of functional movements and activities – like pushups and pullups, deadlifts and squats, running and rowing. Our goal is to teach you how to increase your capacity while making sure the workouts you are doing are manageable based on your individual capabilities. Our experience allows us to accommodate different levels of fitness, experiences, injury or other limiting factors.

Our GENERAL HUMAN PREPAREDNESS training will coach you every step of the way to your unique health and fitness goals. Our uniquely-structured workouts will safely and efficiently help you get stronger, leaner, faster, healthier and more athletic.

GENERAL HUMAN PREPAREDNESS CLASS TIMES:

Monday to Friday:
6-7AM “Red Eye”
7-8AM “Pink Eye”
9-10AM “Breakfast Club”

Monday to Thursday:
6:15-7:15PM “Din Dins”

INVESTMENT

FOSSIL FITNESS

Don’t be petrified!

FOSSIL FITNESS is a training program developed for individuals 60+ who want to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life through physical training.

The FOSSIL FITNESS program uses cutting-edge cardiovascular conditioning, weight training and natural human movements to increase stamina, strength, agility, posture and balance. The training sessions are always different, fun, safe and designed to help us practice the movements that we were born to do every day.

All levels of fitness are welcome, from those who are new to fitness to the seasoned athlete. The load and intensity will always be adjusted to meet your individual needs – every class. Class sizes are limited to ensure that everyone receives personalized coaching and feedback.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7 AM and 8 AM

MOVEMENT & MOBILITY (M&M)

M&M is a movement-enhancement group class designed to increase your body control, flexibility and usable ranges of motion. Increasing your mobility is a prerequisite for enhancing your athletic ability and decreasing your risk of injury while participating in sports, training and all of life.

At a MOVEMENT & MOBILITY class, you will be meticulously and mindfully led through a wide variety of end-range training protocols to improve your overall movement potential. Participation in M&M creates better articular (joint) health, mobility and movement patterns that are needed for the demands of life, sport and training.

Who can benefit from M&M?  From a 13-year-old hockey player who needs to bulletproof their shoulders to prevent injuries, to a 73-year-old grandmother who is trying to avoid knee-replacement surgery, there isn’t a single person who could not benefit from building strength, control and articular resilience.

M&M CLASS TIME:
Sunday at 8 or 9AM (check the Tank Goderich: Private Facebook Group that day to make sure)

Cost: $15 per class as a drop-in fee
FREE if you are a member of Fossil Fitness or Reboot
$20 per month if you are a member of General Human Preparedness

REBOOT

Anxious? Sore? Ready to begin a healthier journey for life? Needing to kick-start a plant-strong diet? Nervous to start at a gym? Looking for a community of likeminded, positive people to support you in your goals? REBOOT is for you.

REBOOT is a gentle approach to Tank life. With breath work as the foundational element, REBOOT members step-step-step through patterns of functional movement to increase mobility, strength and comfort in their own bodies.

Utilizing a mindful, less-is-more approach, participants at every age and fitness level learn to harness the power of their breath to reset their physiology for optimal tissue oxygenation, against anxiety.

REBOOT runs a private Facebook group for discussion, instructional videos and recipe sharing.

REBOOT is proud to partner with Firmly Rooted Farm to deliver fresh, local, organic produce to members each week. Recipes make full use of these deliciously powerful ingredients.
